About Us

Established in 1958 by Austrian born Fritz Dietl, a renowned figure skating star and coach, the Fritz Dietl Ice Rink in its early years was a training center for top level test and competitive figure skaters. With its uniquely sized ice surface, the Fritz Dietl Ice Rink offers a cozy and comfortable skating environment. Over the years the Fritz Dietl Ice Rink has become a popular neighborhood recreational skating destination.

Conveniently located in Westwood, New Jersey, this family owned and operated skating rink offers year round skating for all ages and abilities. It is both the birthplace and home of the North Jersey Figure Skating Club.

Sessions and Prices

Public Sessions -- scheduled daily, $10.00 for a two hour session (adults/children)
Figure Skating Sessions -- scheduled daily, $12.00 per hour
Stick Time -- please call
Group and Private Lessons -- available by appointment
Skate rentals -- $3.00
Hockey Ice Rental -- $400.00 for two hours or $350.00 for 90 Minutes
Parties (2 hours) -- $395.00 for up to 40 skaters, including rental skates
